This project was the second phase of Gamut Theater’s expansion and renovation initiative. The first phase was completed in 2015 and featured needed repairs and improvements to the theater building (built in 1854), including major electrical upgrades, installation of sprinkler systems and complete overhaul of HVAC systems. The current Phase Two project continues with those improvements and includes elevator repairs, handicap accessible entrance construction, and stage and classroom modifications.
The renovations performed will make the building suitable for full-time occupancy, compliant with ADA requirements, and fully functional to host Gamut’s expansive performance and educational initiatives.
